365 days = 365 photographs

I know I should have started on Jan 1st but better late than never. A 365 photography project is based on the commitment to post photographs — often random — representing each day of the year.

Traditionally the 365 project is known as an opportunity for amateur photographers to learn new skills and develop their style. For me, I wanted to get back into my photography. There are many variations and approaches to the project. Most people post to a traditional blog, like me, or on Flickr, Picasa, Facebook, etc. Some people choose to upload their images once a day, once a week or when they feel like it. My project is a weekly commitment to post. Every day I capture an image and post the images once a week.

To start the project off I chose to post a picture taken a while ago. Normally I would post a picture from today but I want to get this off the ground. Here it goes...

(taken on Fulton Landing looking over to lower Manhattan)

So with my new Nikon in hand my journey begins. Stay tuned....
